Before you begin your formal application online, please be prepared to provide the following information: *

Auth Code

Authorization Code

If you are applying through your employer or sponsoring organization, you must enter an authorization code provided by them.

If you are applying as an individual, you will not need to submit an authorization code.

Statement of Purpose

If you are applying for an Academic Program, such as a Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree, the online admission form requires you to submit a Statement of Purpose that clearly explains why you want to enroll and the benefits you expect. Please make sure to limit the size of your text to less than 600 characters.

If you are applying for a non-degree course you will not need to submit a statement of purpose.

Transcripts

If you are applying for an Academic Program, such as a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree, you will need to send by mail to SDGKU an original Transcript(s) of Academic Records from the school that issued your high school degree (for Bachelors Programs applicants), or from the university that issued your undergraduate degree (for Masters Programs applicants), or from the universities that issued your bachelors and masters degrees (for Doctoral Programs applicants). A scanned copy of these documents may be submitted through the online application only for information purposes, but you will still need to mail the original Transcript(s) of Academic Records to SDGKU at the following address: 1095 K Street, Suite B, San Diego, CA, 92101 to be enrolled as a student.

Note: You will not be able to proceed to the enrollment phase of the online application process until SDGKU has received and approved your original Transcript(s) of Academic Records.

All applicants must submit a scanned copy of one of the following personal identification documents:

→ Driver's license
→ Citizenship or residency card

Note: Applicants to courses in Spanish must provide proof of being citizens and residents of a Spanish-speaking country via their official passport and residency documents.

Curriculum Vitae/Resume

All applicants must submit a scanned, digitized, or electronic copy of their curriculum vitae/resume. Please limit the length to no more than 3 pages.

The following are accepted image and document formats:

Color Photo

Color Photo

All applicants must submit a scanned, digitized, or electronic copy of a color photo of themselves. Please crop the photo to be a head shot only. Photos must meet the following requirements:

Size: No bigger than 50K

Content: Must be a head shot showing full face cropped at the shoulders. No sunglasses of any type; prescription eyewear is aceptable

Format: → .png → .jpg → .gif  → (Please no .tif formats)

Certification

English Language Proficiency Certification

Applicants that are not native of an English speaking country are required to provide a scanned, digitized, or electronic copy of a Certification of English Language Proficiency (CELP). Please note that this covers applicants living in most Latin American countries. The following options meet the CELP requirements:

→ A score of 550 points in the TOEFL exam
→ Mastery of ELPW Level 2 exam
→ Language proficiency commitment letter (provided online)

New Student Enrollment Agreement

In the enrollment phase of the online application process, all applicants must print, fill out, sign and date, scan and submit the New Student Agreement form their program or course provided online.
